Who We Are
In 1985, Norma Gil and her sons, John, Shane, Jim, and Jesse, opened the doors to Empanada's Place. They would have never imagined how popular their unique empanadas would become over the years. To this day, they are proud to provide Los Angeles with their wonderful food! We want to express our special thanks to all the food critics like Elmer Dills, Merrill Shindler, Mirta Rodriguez, Linda Burum, and so many others who collaborated with us on this journey. And to all our customers whom we have enjoyed serving over the years
